Can some one please help with previous asked question

Me again, thanks for the help, so as I have a canister type cleaner would putting a elbow in the lid and fitting the balance pipe to that work?
Also bee-utey for my reference can you tell from the pic what type is my gas system?. Thanks again Gary
    Thanks if you can help

The lid is the wrong end of a canister (Donaldson) type air filter to go the the engine! You would be bypassing the filter altogether.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Assuming you're running a Landy barrel air filter, fitting your "elbow" to the air cleaner lid should work OK. Be aware though that you may have to fine adjust the gas flow adjuster for best economy and power, don't just rely on the setting being exactly right after a modification. It'll be in the hose between the converter and the mixer. A 1/4 turn either way then test drive until you're happy. Mark it with a texta and note how much you've moved it.

As for the "type", it's a venturi system, complex converter type, or some such similar jargon. If you mean "brand" well the converter is a BRC converter, it will say so on the front cover. Hardly any system has all components made by the same manufacturer so to say a system is a particular brand is not very helpful. Many manufacturers specialise in ony one particular aspect of a gas system eg electronics which are used in a large variety of gas kits.
