My opinion would be to stick with your standard springs for now and chuck in new shocks. The springs are soft enough as standard and I personally wouldn't want a jelly on wheels. This will be way cheaper and fix your issue without the extra expense of coils. The shock replacement should reap greater benefits anyway.
I have to disagree with the masses in regards to Bilsteins though. In my fast road cars they were awesome, and just tolerable on road in my Disco, but found them way too harsh off-road. I've also driven a 120 series Prado with them and thought exactly the same. Sorry Bilstein, but I did really love you in my Escorts.
It's better to regret the things you've done than those you haven't!
