Ok, need education on off set, I can order rims what type of off set over standard rims would give me 30mm extra. Cheers

Stock are +33 so O offset would be ideal but most just go - 25 as that seems to be the normal aftermarket rim offset.

Ok, so a minus off set means a wider wheel base, great stuff. If the new rims are -25 does this mean an extra 57mm each side over stock, cheers

Nope, wheelbase is the distance between the front and rear axles. Track is the width of the axles.

Beware, in most states of this wonderful country, wheel spacers are illegal for on road use! In the event of an accident, even if its not your fault, insurance companies will not pay up! You could also be given a defect notice.

I have wheel spacers on my D1, not bulldog ones, but terrafirma with the centering lip. I tried flat ring spacers and had problems with balancing, I heard that happens to some people. The ones with the lip are easier to fit and center in my opinion.

One thing I can say is that I just fitted 245/75 16 on my truck and I had major problems with tire rub, front and back. Seems that larger tires and spaces don't marry very well, but after some cutting (camel cut) on the rear arches and front ones as well, they go hide inside the wheel arches (barely).

Anyway, I like those spacers, more turning radius and more stable on toll road.
