300TDI Not starting after long trip

I recently finished a 4000KM trip without any issue.

Unpacked, washed and put it into the garage where it has been for about a month.

I went to start it last night and it won't kick over.

It's trying to kick over, the battery is fine, I am going to try priming the fuel system, in case some air has snuck in somewhere, but it doesn't sound like the usual "no fuel" noise.

It's not "ticking/clicking" like the negative terminal/earth issue which has been an issue a couple of times in the past.

It doesn't have an alarm or anything.

Is there anything else I should be looking at whilst under the bonnet?
Before I get belted by the wifey for dragging it to the mechanics again...

Have you tried the fuel solenoid on the back of the pump?

After a bit more searching I've found what I think is the same noise [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xNjVscNVhA[/ame]. Any ideas?

Bad earth i think on the 110 video, check the earth straps. If it turns over fine then solenoid on inj pump seems likely or alarm spider if it was fitted (even though you say it wasnt) . Try a lead direct from battery to inj solenoid.

Finally got some time with it. Checked and charged battery...nothing. Tried solenoid...click click. No issue there. Tried fuel...all good there. Tried jump...no kick over. Checked brushed and reattached all earths...no kick over. Swore and Kicked tyre...did everything again and low and behold away it went. Yay! Back on the road once more.
