    Defender transfer in disco 1

    G'day guys was just wondering if anyone has fitted a defender transfer to there disco to reduce gearing to turn bigger wheels and have more low end power. I've got a petrol gas v8 and have heard that you can do it and would be interested in the results.

    I did this in a D2 manual diesel TD5 for exactly this reason. I ran 33 inch tyres. Worked well. Not as cruisy on the open road, great low down torque in the bush. The low range was fitted with Maxi Drive 48% goodness.
