Yes, they have a breather on the passenger side of the box.
My breather was pinched and it blew tranny fluid out the fill/dipstick tube, how ever it still pushs the dipstick up about an inch[but no fluid]

It sure does. The breather is suppose to come up into the engine bay towards the fire wall. It appears to be originally a plastic type of tube that breaks off and which can get clogged with dirt and muck. It was a bit difficult to get to on the transmission.

I ended up replacing what was left of the old hose with a rubber tube finishing at about the same height as the top of the dip stick. Some put a cheap filter on the end and that is something that I still need to do but never remember to get one when I'm at the stores.

Common problem, best way is to put a cable tie in the dipstick clip, easy enough to do, moreover nullify the risk of crap in the box, mine used to do it on bumpy terrain. The breath is something I will check...

Mine has an aftermarket breather but it has always pushed the dipstick up. Never been a problem though.
