Yes, they have a breather on the passenger side of the box.
My breather was pinched and it blew tranny fluid out the fill/dipstick tube, how ever it still pushs the dipstick up about an inch[but no fluid]
The old disco keeps pushing the dipstick out of the tube do these things have a breather some place?

It sure does. The breather is suppose to come up into the engine bay towards the fire wall. It appears to be originally a plastic type of tube that breaks off and which can get clogged with dirt and muck. It was a bit difficult to get to on the transmission.
I ended up replacing what was left of the old hose with a rubber tube finishing at about the same height as the top of the dip stick. Some put a cheap filter on the end and that is something that I still need to do but never remember to get one when I'm at the stores.
Better check its clear I guess no oil comes out of the tube just the stick and its irritating I don't need water and dust ect in there
Mine has an aftermarket breather but it has always pushed the dipstick up. Never been a problem though.
