I have looked at new injectors and i can get a whole set of bosch for about 600AUD. the other thing i noticed is that you can buy just the nozzles for half the price.

my question(s) is/are, is it worth it to put new injector nozzles on? does it make much difference if the old ones are clogged? should i just clean the old ones.

should i just get them tested and if then the spray pattern is out just put new nozzles on?

should i just get new injectors?

when i do any work to the thing i always want to make sure anything i put back is new if it needs to be. i dont just like saying she will do and put a half working part just because its an older engine and not worth it. in my opinion it is always worth it.

does putting new nozzles defeat any purpose? do you need to test springs etc on the body of the injectors?

I am doing a trip to sandy cape next long weekend and i just wanted to do some of the lose ends on it. i wanted to make sure to fix the injector leaks before i left but being me, i dont just wana put the old injectors back if they could use some work to them. id rather do each job once and do it right.

thanks for listening to me, i feel much better now.
Hi
Scanning the forum for info on replacing injectors on 300tdi as i am considering it. Did you end up getting new ones? Was there a clear performance improvement?
My idea is to do new injectors then hybrid turbo.
