4 days off :-) Decided to get stuck into a few odd jobs that had accumulated. Fitted LED spots and light bar, concealed wiring into the gutter, down behind the snorkel and into the engine bay via a cable-gland into the plastic valance panel. Created a switch panel using the blanking plates, I removed the switches and separated the caps, drilled them out to take the micro switches I found plus two led pilot lights (Made from 4 lights of different styles cut and shut to fit!!), then glued them back to the fascia of the base plate. The on/off/on rocker controls the 2 x passenger side lights for camping or the rear light, the led pilots are wired to both sides of the switch to illuminate so I don't accidentally knock them on during the day or drive down the road with them on !! The other on/off rocker controls the spots and Light-bar via the high beam circuit. I also installed a new Kenwood CD/BT/AM/FM/AUX stereo so I can listen to my country tunes from the iPod :-) don't have to cart a box load of Cd's anymore.....Hey I'm old these things take a while :-) Í also installed a voltmeter into the roof panel behind the uhf, not sure if it will be any benefit but I can see what volts the alternator is making. Soon as I fitted it I recalled that the TX4600 UHF also has a function to display this.......oh well. Lastly I fitted a rear ladder, need to be able to get to the rack, and again, I'm old (well old ish) so every little thing helps! Still plenty to do, but we're almost under control, all the leaks and major issues were expertly rectified by the legend that is Discorevy !! so can start enjoying it now....well as soon as the plague clears........ Cheers Kris
