What did you do with or to your Disco today

Well, after almost 10 years, the day finally came. I put my D1 onto a transport to be shipped across the country to it's new owner. With too many cars at home, one or two of them had to be moved on. Who knew that you could get so attached to a car? As I explained to someone today, not only was it a daily driver, I have also lived out of it for weeks at a time going all over Australia. At those times, it's not just a car, it's your home away from home. Hopefully the new owner gets as much enjoyment out of it as I did, and has as many fun times in it. I'm still keeping the D3, but boy am I going to miss the rugged simplicity and the enjoyment in just driving that car, and modifying it too. So Bon Voyage and safe travels to my well loved little blue box on wheels!

I'm sure It's new owner will indeed look after it and have many adventures. Thanks again mate for being so awesome about it all. Can't wait to get my hands on the old girl and take the kids for a spin in the bush. She will be looked after well and taken care of. It will be great to be back in a Landy again after the last few years away. Particularly one that has been well looked after. Cheers.

After bit of heavy rain last few days the young bloke who’s been driving the disco complained about water dropping on his leg found when the windscreen was replaced they did not use enough sealant around the top of windscreen ran hose over all fixed
Just need to remove both front guards to find were it’s weeping in from to wet carpets can see it running down from up high

After snapping off at some point in the last month, I got my rear sway bar bracket stuck back on. Think I'll leave the actual bar off though, can't tell any difference in handling whatsoever...

Also treated ourselves to a Darche 270 Awning, bloody brilliant bit of kit! Can't recommend highly enough.

This morning job was to resell the injection pump head Did it Situ no problems at all
Just got to do the panard rod bushes later today or tomorrow then new tyres Monday

Yes Bearmach in uk ordered Thursday here Monday service great seems to be the goods we will see how it performs soon as already hit steering before that’s why tyres snd a new lift next

Not today but over the past week, fixed an oil leak, put on all new power steering hoses and added a gas strut to the kaymar rear bar (how fancy).

Car is sitting idle because I over achieved and cut through a power steering line rtc4400 accidentally. I always make jobs harder than they need to be. The clincher? An rtc4400 in Australia is over $100! That and no one has them in stock. Bugger that. Getting one from paddocks for under $70. Should be here tomorrow.
