Well it wasn't today but on weekend fixed the oil cooler hoses as one blew apart on Friday morning going to work spent a couple of hours with degreaser and the gerni washer cleaning the oil mess under the car and now I think its broken it doesn't leak any oil when its parked on clean concrete. I currently in the process of recovering the headlining

Bolted a reversing camera on and ran the cables, very handy having a wire floating near the tail light assembly to supply power to the camera and much easier hooking onto the boat when I'm by myself
Well, I finally got around to fixing the instrument surround and where the bottom to screw mounts break off.... little bit if angle aluminium and alls good....
Plus, fitted some ARB side steps, now the missus doesn't have to struggle to climb up to get in :)
Just looked at it. I can't fix the last couple things I need to do to get a RWC..... :(

Nothing, nothing last month and nothing this month :angry: The boat build is nearly finished though so the shed will be freed up to start the rebuild
I have had a week of tinkering on the old girl standed rims painted gloss black.ordered new tyres done front crank case seal front wheel bearings engine mounts. Hopefully this week new brake hoses and rotors for a little better brake pedal feel. Ready for the camping trip in two weeks.
Took the 2door, 3 cyl, 300 tdi I brought for 3 cons of beer, diagnosed a broken rocker shaft. Replaced with parts from a dead engine, all cyl have come home! Fixed the electric widow on the drivers side, and while I was there lubed up the central locking bits and now that works.
Fitted a second hand bull bar and snorkel to replace the missing ones when I got the car. Had to pay for four tyres...... One wheel bearing and seal and the dash to go.
Any advice on how the replace a D1 dash?

Replace both engine mounts and tc mount, patch up hole in floor at the back where old LPG was... Couple other minor things. ( indicator light out in dash)....Quote:
