Not a noticeable amount worse than before. Still paralleled park fine, no issues on the regular commute to the shops. I'll know more on the weekend when I actually go out bush again.

Just finishing off the timing belt, radiator flush, and new hoses/belts on the Tdi - decided I might as well give her an oil change while I'm under there.
At least it keeps me off the streets, and that's got to be good for the land values around here :p
Another engine oil & filter change. Do it every 5K ☺ Also degreased the engine.

Disco was startin to get a tad wandery on the road, so checked the toe out, 7-8mm .
Track rod looks to have a slight bend. Reset to 2mm and after a 200km drive, steers a bit nicer and seems to have made a difference to fuel economy, or I could just be dreaming.
Some new HD steering rods on the to do list me thinks........
ripped the radiator out
Let the wife drive. (she is learning)

Pic does not do justice to the grade of that hill as per usual.
Got to test out the handbrake though :)
And here is a pic of the surrounding area so you can see why i love to drive around here.

I grew up in Hazelwood North. Beautiful bush land around there, and as you said pics don't do the gradient of the hills justice, but that pic even shows a pretty good lean.
Excellent/world class motorbike tracks through in the bush there too. Damn I miss it. Biggest hill in Darwin is about 20m high.
Out in the bush yesterday coming down a steep hill.
On the brakes as normal and then all of a sudden SQUEEEEEEL.
Had to get her home to check as a quick investigation did not pick it up.
(I thought it was coming from the front not back)

I have to assume the lining fell off while i was out and then metal on metal all the way home.
Yep destroyed a disk!!
I knew the back pads were getting low but did not expect this i have to say.
I do take full responsibility and put it down to lack of maintenance.
