Ended up having to be pulled out on this occasion.
Cant wait to get me a locker. I think it would have helped in this situation.

One tool that's heaps cheaper then a locker and works awesome in those situations is a shovel

    Yea.... no kidding.
I had a shovel in the car but even easier than a shovel was a strap.
Which i ultimately used to get out.

Replaced the air filter with a Repco one. Probably should have replaced it earlier! Still, the dust and crap were on the correct side and the intake side spotless
Also ordered a pair of front shock turret extensions from LRA to be fitted next week and solve my bottoming out issue. I'll do the rears later. Less of an issue there, just put a few more pounds in the Polyairs

Heading up the hill from Wangaratta to Beechworth yesterday Foot down in third, the elbow hose on the turbo let go.
Limped into the servo, bought a clamp for $3 and on my way again.
Its good that if something goes wrong that you know immediately what it is andvthat it is a simple fix.

Gotta love cars that are designed to be worked on.

Today i tracked down a water leak.
Was just about to pull the whole engine down!
Half expected it to be a head gasket but turns out it was a broken water fitting in the air heater thing in the plenum chamber. Bypassed that (cant see why that would matter) and now no more leaks.
    Total cost $0
Oh yea i also reset my gas injectors.

All in all a good day had. Spent nothing and my car loves me for it.

Gaskets replaced, tick gone. Never heard an exhaust leak sound so much like a tappet before. Glad it's gone though.
