Holy crap man. Thats some serious cancer on the floor pan!
Is it worth even keeping it? Cost of repairs i mean versus replacing the car.

Cost me about $1000 to complete the rust repairs so I'm a happy chappie.
I was looking at purchasing a new car but I still love the old girl so I'm looking at spending $5+G's on her in the next few weeks. Mechanically she's fine.
I may get another 18 Yrs out of her :D
Today I gave it a good fish oil,
installed a new steering damper,
a new drive shaft donut,
and a new A frame ball joint which I found in the pile of spares from the old Range Rover days.
Picked up a UHF cb from Repco and threw that in my disco.
Been using a hand held prior to that
Repco Catalogues
Seemed like a good deal. Complete setup. Everything included for under $200.
i took the new D1 for a drive.... its a thirsty girl.. 3/4 of tank used and only 115kms. its on gas but convertor is shot.
oh and i had a waterfall appear from the sunroof switches when i turned left...
Put the trailer on and went to collect a fridge. Engine temp hits the red zone on the return journey with the fridge on. I towed another Disco on a trailer a few weeks back in high 30s and never had an issue.
The last time I towed a fridge it did the same thing. Bizarre.
Oddly enough I'm in the process of buying another brand 4x4 at the moment and I'm thinking it might be a sign from God
Sent from my GT-I9505 using AULRO mobile app
Replaced a couple of blown brake lights, damn annoying having to take the whole light assembly to remove the brake light globe. Oh well all done now :) Happy days.
Just need to sort out this stupid indicator issue :censored:
Let the missus drive it.
She come home with a wood screw right into the tyre.
Did not tell me...... na i got the enjoyment of finding that myself.
8 month old 33 inch mud tyre.
Cant wait till her :p JACKAROO :p is on the road so i can smack that thing into a tree
Now to decide do i be a cheap arse and try repair it myself or just take it to the tyre bloke?
