Soldered the battery holder in the key fob (again!). And finally received the little packet of springs for the door locks, that have been playing up for a few months (since the Melrose/ Birdsville trip in fact). Of course, as soon as the springs arrived, the locks all work correctly! So I'll leave them in the toolbox so the threat will induce correct behaviour for a while.

Gave it a wash, polish and wax for the first time in quite a while...6 hours of work but it came up pretty well for a 20 YO oiler.

Yeah. The mud took a bit of getting off too!
It was that awful clay mud. Just enough water content to make it mud, just dry enough to stick on and not fall off.

No, it was way out east.
Now the disco is in the shed for some refurbishments (spruce up the roofrack, build a jerrycan holder, install a AFR meter and install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator).

Do you ever get out and about in your disco? It looks pretty clean in your profile pic!

Does anyone know of a way to search the users on here to find anyone else who drives discos down here near Albany?

Oh yeah. The Karri country is beautiful. A lot of falling branches though - just a thought if you want to camp under the trees.
You should come down here during marron season.
