Replaced the broken bonnet release cable so now i dont need to use pliers to open the bonnet, and Railey dropped in and we fixed his last remaining RWC issues by fixing the rear door external handle and drilled out and replaced a snapped seat base bolt.

Pulled out the radiator and intercooler from the Disco I just purchased. Notice last week they looked a bit dirty.
So gave them a good clean out, flushed the cooling system, and did and oil change. Now to make sure I've bled the cooling system and take it for a bit of a play/fish down at the river tomorrow![]()
Put the front back on the engine for the 2nd time. Did the timing belt & tensioners a few weeks ago & fitted a new crank gear & seal. The seal leaked so had to pull it all apart again.
Finally put in a new Sony stereo so that I can play the music on the iphone through it. When I took the old CD stacker out from under the drivers seat I remembered I had left some CD's in it - now I need to work out how to get them out?
In the last few days, to make space for a dual battery have installed a snorkel, relocated power steering reservoir and relocated and replaced coil with a bosch mec717 onto the lhs inner guard and installed a battery tray. If I get time in the next couple of days might install the scorcher dizzy I've had laying around.
My list is getting shorter, but it's a long list.

I fitted a magnum winch with steel cable. Even though I have heavy duty king springs all round the nose has dropped a bit![]()
2006 TDV6 Disco
Replaced the standard rear springs and 20mm coil spacers in the rear of the disco with King KRRR-04 springs, raising it about 30mm. The LR 'green' springs in the front now seem a tad short![]()
