Kudos for all the bits and tricks needs to go the the previous owner (tks Matti ). He bought the car back in 99 IIRC and did all the work. On a plus side (for me ), my mechanic was amazed by the overall condition of it. The only RWC issue was a weeping sump gasket which got replaced during the engine repair work anyway.

Finally connected the bullbar indicators to the mains. Moved the number plate from one side of the front bar to up in front of the winch solenoid box.

Being a cheapskate, I thought I could use the Rhino Aero bars I bought for my wife's X-Trail, I was wrong....they are way too short

Never mind. Remove it all and wait until the longer bars arrive. Need to be at least 1600mm long according to my measurements, to have enough free space to fit the pull out awning on one side

Also had the serpentine belt replaced. Annoying squeak is now gone. Belt was damaged as it turned out.

    It's only money.......................

No, I had it into my local mechanic I've used for over a decade for a check over. Next weekend will be engine oil & filter and fuel filter.
