Thread: What did you do with or to your Disco today

Well there you go, it can be done. I now have a oil leak free land rover. Passed it`s road worthy today. So on to selling it.

Well done mate! Its not an easy mission i know! Got my car to a leak free disco only a week ago, now its leaking from a engine cooler hose hahahah. The one hose i have not replaced. (job for tomorrow like always)

Changed a leaky oil cooler line with one of my own contraptions.
Dumped the water and added coolent.
Checked roverguage for any errors. (none)
Moved the coil to the firewall and associated wiring. Which was a mission as it required a guard off to access the bolts from me bolting it above the snorkel behind guard before.
Checked timing again and remarked my set point. 9 BTDC which seems to be a happy spot for it to run.
Checked all fluid levels.
Drove to the bottleshop.

Guess what the rest of my day involves?

So that`s you too the right and behind the guitarist. Good to be able to put a face to a name. Could suggest a comb over though.

What i find amusing is i shaved my head no more than 1/2 hr before you posted this!

Did not even touch my disco today. Look out the front and there is a green puddle.
Damn water pump appears to be leaking.

Car off the road yet again.

Decided to use a few old engine parts of the disco today.

My new Helmet stand.
