    Lack of spider issue.

    With a few hours up my sleeve i decided it was time to search for that little black box of evil and repair it once and for all, dash came out ok after wrestling with a jammed drink holder.
    But could not locate the damn spider box anywhere, not behind heater controls under stereo like every other post i have read and not up near the steering column.
    So how the hell do i fix the item that isnt there, my disco is a Jan 98 build and i was hoping to fix it so i could remove the bypass i put in.

    I have a 99 Disco 1 and the spider is behind passenger side kick panel.

    Yeah had that bookmarked for about 2 years, didnt get a chance to remove kick panel last night but hopefully can tonight.

    So i removed the passenger side kick panel and no spider unit ?
