    96 auto Tdi 349,000km. Been running diesel/gas for nearly 4 years, head was rebuilt at the same time, no other problems. Consistently getting 8.6L/100km

    Olfella has since reported that his 300TDI has now passed the 1 million k's and never had the head removed

    I was rounding off and guessing on my last post where I said 445K, it wasn't far off in the scheme of things but this one is more accurate and occasion is marked with a photo.

    My D1 odometer, compared to GPS trip meter, typically reads about 5% under (speedo is only about 1km off at 100kph though). Looking at my todays odo reading of 445200ish, actual kms on the thing is closer to approx 467400. Anyone else have this kind of variance?
