    Im game

that product is a cleaner, but it also has lubricant. Your maf will probably get dirty quicker with that on it.

Id use something that doesnt have a residue. Can you get CRC co contact clean? Ive not used CRC CO clean on a maf sensor but ive used it to clean other sensitive electronics and its great

I have used many on petrol cars and the best i have found was a product that Subaru sells in a can. Although i don't know how well it would work with a diesel.

    Absorutry NO.
There is a product called wait for it CRC MAF cleaner or go to your Jaycar and buy electronic contact cleaner.
Both of these are designed to leave no residue.

Throttle body cleaner is a solvent to remove dirt and dust and oil residue from Throttle bodies eg probably Carby cleaner rebadged seeing there are no more carbys. This will leave a petroleum residue.
