I believe in Vic it would not pass a RWC.
It will depend on the tester but i know of one d1 that recently passed with a bypassed heater , as long as it can demist (dont need heat for that) i cant see a problem.Quote:

Just know that it doesn't have to be a dash out job to replace the matrix / heater core. Some cutting of aluminium lines and removal of a few brackets will allow you to slide it towards the drivers footwell like an old 8 track cassette. Do a search on this forum, theres a lot of info on that fix - its the info I used and took me less than a day.
