Thankyou for the advice. Although if i plan to replace the carrier with a locker then its sort of not needed right?
So so many questions regarding this issue lol.
I know a fair bit about cars in general but i have always avoided diffs.
Guess what im forced to learn diffs now damn it.
Just did a dummy assembly of the unit and with minimal torque the damn pinion sits really nice. No play at all?
That confuses the hell out of me cause when in car i tightened and it still had play.
Only difference now is the seal is no longer there, beyond that it should be the same.
I think perhaps i should have just tightened it from the start and not entered into this.
