Turbo fitted very easily, all bolts hoses and gaskets except manifold gasket
included, quick delivery, cost $2400 with taxes and manifold gasket.
First test drive a little disapointing, but small adjustment to fueling and wow
what a difference,80 kph hill with gas on now 100 kph with gas off.
Max egt so far 650 deg c up long hill.
Boost around 17 psi gas off a little higher with gas on.
Very happy so far
cheers
update on vnt,i made an adjustment to lpg system,i was a bit worried about the amount of boost and power it was making,my lpg system uses a rising rate fuel pressure regulator and a fixed jet for overall lpg amount,so i reduced the jet from 40 thou to 30 thou, still very happy with performance with more acceptable boost level.Did a 400 km trip to the east coast on the weekend, some fairly level 100 km stuff and some twisty hilly also.Fuel consumption was the best i have ever had 7.75 lts per 100 km diesel, don't know about lpg consumption but previous best was 8.5 diesel and 2.7 lpg so with jet reduction it would be a fair bit less.Intake air temp is always higher i gess thats why allisport recomend fitting upgraded intercooler, doesn't seem to worry it and egt never went over 650 deg c. Fuel consumption was done by filling tank at home in the shed so fuel was visible in filler neck, driven and refilled the same way so should be fairly accurate.

Thanks for the update. Congratulations on the figures. Very impressive !!! I would like to know some details about your gas system if you can spare the time, eg size and type of tank(s), where and how the gas tanks are mounted, how many gas tank refills to diesel tank refills to. Did you have the roof top tent on ? and were you running 31" tyres on that 400 klm trip ?

Hi disco 300,lpg system is dgas full mechanical system which is nla,the tank is a torpedo tank mounted between sill and chassis, holds 20 lts,i used around 2.7lts/100km with old turbo so around 700km per tank, will get a lot more now with reduced let size, didn't have roof tent on but previous experience didn't make much difference anyway.Had 31" tyres on i don't use old wheels and tyres.

bringing this one back for other people's info.

just measured a tank on mine. refilled last night.

since last tank refill i got 924km on one tank. that included about 400kms of highway driving up to jurien bay with a fully loaded car (no roofrack).

the rest was just city driving. bear in mind that i have 245/75 tyres though so i would actually have got more than 924km all up. probably somehere in the 1100 mark i would assume.

this is with an almost stock standard tdi. apart from exhaust mod nothing else is there in terms of performance.

so with the 110 litre tank i was on avg 10l/100km.

once i do the head gasket and instally gauges so i can uptune ip i will measure again and try and go to the same places to make the comparison more accurate. i wrote pretty much every place i drove to on a note book in my car. dont laugh at me.
