    WTF is this noise !

i've narrowed it down the the front right hand side of the axel,
i'm thinking axel/cv the end float needs adjusting, anyone else had this same noise ?
the only other thing i can think of is the diff, as you can see there's a small ding in the housing.

I doubt it is your diff based on a dent in the housing. Seems suspension ish to me.

Great vid....very clean, unlike my oily/muddy/dirty beast. Sounds like its coming from inside the axle housing to me....but I know nit as Ive never had the axle opened. Good luck.

Try checking your wheel bearings, I had a similar noise that I couldn't find. The wheel bearings finally collapsed and then I found it.

Cheers chaps, thought u'd like it. So far I've done wheel bearings, CVS, axle, changed diff, and prop shafts. PS I know it's poor form having such a clean disco, will try to rectify this asap.

Watched the video a few times now.
Could it be an exhaust hitting?
Is it more noticeable at certain times. Like under load or whatever?

No only once I hit about 50 plus up to 80, but could be exhaust, but it definitely sounds like the right hand side, might do another vid on the other side

Sounds like a dry front uni-joint, also check for any rocks between disc and cover plate and check that it is tight, can make weird sounds if it is loose, regards Frank.

    Solved yet?

Great video firsttracks, did you cable tie a gopro to your bar?

Did you end up finding the noise? sound very annoying.
