    Question

    OK.... couple more questions

    1. How many faults do these ECU hold?
    2. Everytime u start the car and the ABS light comes on, is that another code stored in the ECU?
    3. How can u "clear ALL" codes in the ECU or do u need to clear one at a time?

I re-checked the code errors again and this time I got to completely different codes. 2-8 and 2-12.

From what I can find out:
2-8 > No voltage to ABS solenoid valves. Faulty valve relay or wiring.
2-12 > Front Right, wiring to sensor broken or sensor resistance too high.

Has anyone had any experience with these?

When the car is started it is normal for the abs light to come on - no fault at this stage. If everything is ok, the light should go out once you reach 8 kmh. This is part of the normal abs start up/self check procedure.

    Hey Tom,
Yes, I realise this but on the odd occasion, the ABS does not go out when I drive off and sometimes it comes on while driving. I've also started to notice to when turning ( only turning right so far) and braking that the brake pedal shudders for a 1 sec or so which leads me to thinking that it's one of the brake sensors......
