Yes, I removed the Air-con condensor as it was damaged (fins flattened) behind the 2 air con fans and heaps of rubbish stuck in fins, this helped, but the bigger cooler done the trick.
You can see in the pic I had to cut some metal away to fit it where it is.
The Hydraulic rubber pipes weren't standard for this cooler, I believe they have (originally) snap on type fitting, similar to modern fuel lines.
I had to work hard to get the rubber hose over the retaining ridges on the oil cooler pipes then use double clamps wired together, I could only find 1 pic, but I will have a look for some more that I have, Regards Frank.

RRC standard fit
My 3.9/R380 D1 parts car the bits came from
The "kit"
mount and plumbing through the grille
plastic grille bit you need to remove each side to get the pipes through.
After the cooler is fitted, I just tapped into one of the existing hoses so the trans fluid runs through both in series. I don't believe it matters which way the oil flows but I am sure someone will let me know if it is the case. The hose is half inch I.D.
No air-con, the condensor was buggered so I just deleted it, I was going to fit the fans and frame back (minus the condensor but haven't got around to it) I'm pretty sure I got it as a Freebie off the Give Away section of the markets on this Forum, it is off a Disco 2 auto, Regards Frank.
