On top of the engine air intake is a small recess with a 3/16 allen key screw inside of it. This is the base idle screw. Unscrew this screw a couple of turns and see how the idle settles down. The idling speed is normally controlled by the stepper motor mounted to the rear of the engine next to the brake booster, and gets slow in its old age. The base idle should be set at around 500 rpm with the stepper hose plugged, but just adjusting it up a bit via the allen screw may be all you need.
Oh and you don't have a carby, it's EFI.
