This video is what got me interested in diagnostic tools in the first place! Luckily I don't have the TDi I have the v8.

It is Epsom Green, but I have not been in Kanchanaburi for a year or so. Somebody once told me that there are around 5,000 Land Rovers in Thailand, but I do not know the breakdown of those numbers. Many of the older cars, not series, have Jap engines in them. There is huge import duty on new cars resulting in ridiculous prices, only payable by the upper class. I am not at home at the moment so don't have a price list with me, but a new Disco is around 6 Million Baht, $240,000 AUD.
Mine is stock standard but loaded up with ARB bull bar, custom rear bar with swing out spare carrier, safari snorkel, tow bar and winch and a 2" lift. I bought it second hand about 10 years ago and paid 630,000 Baht, about $25,000 AUD at the time. It had about 100k Kms on it and had only been used by a company as a limo in Bangkok. The only extra it had was an air conditioner in the rear. It has since cost me about that much again to keep it going and add the extras!
Lol. Well, it wasn't yours then. Funny how, with all the sensory overload a farang gets visiting that amazing, beautiful country, that the Disco shape stands out. I mean, I saw a DC10 in someone's garden in Bangkok.
How's the rain?
Yep. I get over there for Anzac Day. Typical of that lot to pick the hottest, most humid time of year! Thought the monsoon would be with you by now. Have a Singha instead!
The DC10 was next to the freeway heading out towards Nakhon Pathom I think. Highly polished, or at least very shiny.
