    Yep - I dont know what to expect with them ito longevity- let's see.
    It is the case that Disco 1's ( that carry loads) seem to be pretty hard on shocks - like Rangy classics, defenders and the like.
    If the shocks are not up to it, it will become pretty clear, pretty quickly I think.

    I have Koni Raids matched with some reasonably light LRA springs and with the tyre pressures dropped the Defender just floats over rough roads and makes short work of the Simpson Desert and similar terrain. It surprises everyone that rides in it and on off-road trips there is often a bit of arm wrestling over who'll get the passo seat.

    The best thing I ever did was ditch the rear airbags. Even with just 5psi they acted like bump stops and stopped the shocks working correctly. Took me a while to wake up to that issue.

    I've also had a great experience with bilstein product, just not in a landy. Can't go too far wrong with either brand imo.

    4 years later and a bit of remote and hi country work. About 50000km.
    Very happy...very well controlled ride fully laden and acceptable part laden.
    Havent topped out once since I got them.
