What year is it? Those instructions are for a single button remote. Mine has a 2 button and can be programmed with a Nanocom or similar. The switch under the bonnet is only one of several sensors, including the motion sensor inside the car.

It's a 12//1996 and it dose have the alarm.

You can program the key`s with the new HAWKEYE TOTAL diagnostic Tool (BA5068 ) and green adapter (10AS) (BA5076).

You can order it from Paddock or Rimmerbros in the UK, Works like a charm.......

And the HAWKEYE TOTAL is not locked to only one vehicle .
