    APT Coil Springs

Anyone had any experience with the APT coil springs?
Trying to decide between the APT lifted comfort springs (tapered) and the C51-018/022 Dobinsons...

    Thanks

Tapered coils are the best IME.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

    Righto, thanks.
They are meant to be able to also handle the weight of all the gear when touring whilst still being nice and smooth when not fully loaded.
I want to pair them with adjustable shocks and was thinking Tough Dog adjustable shocks?

Koni raid 90 are probably a better alternative

I just did a quick search of the price of those koni shocks and they are super expensive! About twice the cost of Tough Dog shocks...

10 years ago i spent good money on DeCarbon monotubes. They have now been on 3 of my vehicles... the same set. Don't skimp on shocks.

    Yeah maybe.
I put an el-cheapo set of non-adjustable shocks on my other disco years ago, and have been on many trips and across Australia with them and they are still fine.
Just looking for an adjustable set now.

The joy of a cheap price is soon forgotten on the back of a tilt tray in the kimberleys...
