I have a warn 8000lb I took off my D1, not up to the task of D3 recovery without a snatch block so maybe posted in the markets soon.
I would not buy any of them without a snatch block being part of the deal. But you do need to find out if the car has crush cans or not.
Please note that the king of all off the shelf winches is 8000lb,

Gearing is the main difference in the low mount series, take a couple of pulley blocks and you’re sorted [emoji57]
Think before you buy a winch. Whilst pull load is important, many winches are not water proof, or do not have breathers to stop water ingress, and some clearly state that their warranties will not cover damage done by water! In some cases your recovery might be in water, so watch out. Some of the well known brands do not cover water damage
Ended up going with a TJM Torq 9500lb winch, because they've got some new silly colour coming out and there is a decent special on them throughout December which brings them down to the same price as other more reasonably priced winches like the Runva ones. Sounds like they have lots of the water proofing and good features. They put black rope on it though which is a bit stupid I think, yellow was much better but there was no special on the yellow rope ones. Should be a good one!
