    They might be more discreet?

    Serg/uninformed did that in his 110 after I wool tuft tested a Defender bonnet to work out air flows.
    We didn't like the idea of hot under bonnet air blowing straight into the under screen vents!

    Thats makes sense on a Defender, im doing this on a 300Tdi disco so not as much of an issue. I'll look at both options.

    Found these on ebay, discrete and not to boy racer like.

    Some time ago when we all driving D2's, there were some bonnet louvres featured on here and a how to fit post. Blowed if I can find it now, but they were supposed to work well. Someone else may remember.
    I'll try another search.

    I figured it had been done before but i couldn't find anything either.

    It has been done before, some members here fitted the louvres, I was going to fit them to mine, they were readily available and inexpensive.
    My searches keep leading me to bonnet scoops.
