Has the Muffler Box been replaced lately?

This sound happened to me recently & they, Exhaust PLUS, had fitted a " stock Universal Muffler Box" I took it back thinking that a bracket or mount had moved allowing a " muffled rattling" noise & it was put over the pit & I checked it as well as the mechanic. We bashed everything near the box & pipe but couldn't prove anything & they said "it will be ok after a bit of carbon has tightened up the baffles". Yeah RIGHT!

Have since diagnosed it as a low pitched exhaust rumble & it is bloody annoying. The so called "V8 Rumble" is just that, but amplified.

Not sure what I am going to do next as I am not an afficionado of the so called 'V8 Rumble'. $*&%#@

The original Land Rover Box had lasted since 1995 (D1 Facelift), so a good innings, but at least it was reasonably quiet until it split.

No recent muffler work for this little Disco it definitely sounds like something in the drive train that's loose or worn but I've had a look myself and can't find anything loose. Probably should check the wheel bearings next, I just haven't had any time to check things myself for ages and this weekend coming is no better because I'm away somewhere else...which isn't so bad actually haha but the car continues to wait.
