Stick with the quality FTDI cable! I tried doing it on the cheap Chinese FTDI converters and it was a complete waste of time.
Ended up making one with a Gearmo cable from Amazon and it worked fine.
So I'm making a rovergauge cable hopfully tonight.(because I'm to cheap to buy one)
I've read through the instructions and understand how to do it easy. Does anyone have any thoughts or had any problems before I launch into it. I already know that the ecu dosnt have a plug and I have to solder it in. Anything I should look out for?
Also has anyone used it on android yet?
Cheers Jim

I got a cheapy FDTI thing and it works fine. If you read the instructions you should have no issues.
I only tried it on a laptop though and not android. That may cause some issues.
