    300Tdi IP rebuild perth

    Hey folks,

Where is the best place to get a 300tdi injector pump and injectors rebuilt in Perth? I am actually located down near Albany but was presuming there might be a guy in Perth who has some experience with the 300tdi pumps?

Also, when an injector pump is rebuilt do they return it to you with all settings (fuel mix etc) returned to factory? Or does the whole thing need tuning again?

    Thanks!

Oh yeah thanks. I have a spare injector pump though as well as the one still in the vehicle

A1 fuel injection might be a possible then...
We have a diesel injection firm down here in Albany, but i was just hoping there might be somewhere that does a lot of these types of pumps...

Anyone know if they have to re-tune the vehicle when a rebuilt pump is put in? As i was just planning to rebuild an engine and drop it in with a rebuilt pump and presuming it would run like factory??

Not sure who the handful of LR specific mechanics in Perth use, but from what I’ve been told they provide the rebuilt pumps in up-tuned settings. When i first got my d1 the pump started leaking badly. Jordan rovertech did mine. They send off to ip specialist. But came back uptuned. Felt pretty much same to me but it was and is first disco i ever drove. After my tricked rb30 skyline, I honestly wasn’t even sure if i was moving when i got my disco. The noise was the only giveaway

they will tune it to what you tell them.

if you dont specify they tune it to their standard. typically thats the vw spec which is a little hotter than the disco spec.
