    300tdi brake vac pump

    Hey all
Just received a brand new brake vac pump (unipump).
piston has a fair bit of play - about 5mm or so loose movement.

Just want to check before installing whether this is normal..?

    Yep!
I have a brand new one here, Unipump too.
    I don't think it's piston movement.
The plunger (that has the slack) is not directly connected to the piston, so the slack seems to be between the plunger and the piston.
