    Transfer case leak

My 22yo 330000km TC has developed minor weeps at front and possibly rear output flanges.
No where near hitting the garage floor yet but leak evident over housing around flanges...must have started within the last 12 months.
    TC otherwise performs perfectly.
    Initial thought is blocked breather.
Even though it is almost physically impossible to get at the tc and trans breathers in the engine bay as they are up tight against the rear of the rocker cover I was able to Get a bit of fuel line on the ends and blow down them....I got the expected bellow effect ie big blow in then the air returns up the line. But I am not 100% sure so I want to undo the banjo end on the TC and then make sure it is clear there and that I can blow air through from there.
It is a pia to get to as well!
The banjo is accessibe with advanced yoga techniques..then the line is clamped only about 6 inches away...so I am wondering how to go about it without getting my upper body jammed under the tunnel..or causing the dog to run away again.
Any ideas on the best way forward....or is it just time for a reco TC?

Not worth just doing the seals(and flanges)?
At that mileage, the flanges will be worn around the seals. Cost about $80 for each kit.

They're not too hard to do, bit of a pain for the rear with the handbrake and all.
I just did a late model defender the other week, about an hour for the front, and a couple for the rear.

Thanks Authur - I'll bring it over :-)

So yes 2 new flanges/seals might be a reasonable way to go since the box is operating fine otherwise. The output shaft was replaced in it several years ago ( that made a nice improvement to backlash!) when the auto was replaced so it has been opened up and inspected at that time and was ok. I will still make 100% sure that the breather is ok. I might try adding 20% Moreys at the next oil change to see if I can delay the job as long as possible. No long trips planned at this stage anyway..for obvious reasons.

Can get to the banjo fitting from underneath without too much drama. Was ok on mine a least, 200tdi D1.

So it drops a few drops each time its parked now.
Putting a tray under it in the shed now😱
The Moreys didnt help the leak.
Dont think it is the flanges..its dripping off the tc cover and coming from higher up.
Will try to find exact leak site before taking to mech for major service soon and get opinion.
