    Discover 1 with a pop-up roof

I like very much the idea, gives my Disco new possibilities for exploring without towing.
I do not like the roof tents, is getting harder to use them (at my age) and the climate here in Tassie is not the best for it.
I just wonder if someone has done this conversion here in Oz.

Life is just a series of obstacles preventing you from taking a nap.

    Cool

The one that I saw was made by the German company Ex-Tec and looks very neat.

As you are no doubt aware the big names in L-R conversions are Dormobile and Carawagon but they don't seem to have done any. However another German convertor that does is

    Rover Discovery
    2005 D3 TDV6 Present
    1999 D2 TD5 Gone

Ex-Tec which is the German company does not make the conversion any more and does not supply a kit.

Arthur, I don't know how hard it would be to cut the roof off and fit up one of the bongo van type conversions that would be almost bolt in.

    Sounds like good idea.
