Available at all good joke shops.
That's right. You can buy it anywhere that also sells spark plug gaps, muffler bearings, metric screwdrivers and left handed hammers.

as everyone has suggested, but also BEFORE you take it for a drive...

*Press the brake pedal, ensure it has working brakes.
*Some time ago I got in a Discovery 1 300tdi that had been sitting in a shed somewhere for i think at least 10 - 15 years with 50K original km's on it.
*checked over it all, got it running, sweet, took it for a drive... brake pedal solid! oooops!, luckily a few (more than one or two) and the brakes started to function to a small degree.
    Regards

Pull the spark plugs and pour a couple of teaspoons of Dexron/diesel mix in each cylinder and leave for a couple of days. Turn over with the plugs out a few times.

    ^^^This^^^

I always revive sleeping engines in this manner. And then crank with spark disconnected to prime the oil pump before loading it up by running it.

    A manual will help.

There is one here. For post 1995 vehicles, I think the change is the TDI200 to the TDI300. Again, I think that the V8 will be the same.
