    Back to a Disco after a P38

Hi everyone, I've been mostly hanging around the P38 section for about 4 years now - however I sold my Rangie earlier in the year.. and kinda missed it.
Since then, I've kept an eye out for another goodish (but cheapish) P38 or a Disco 1 V8 (I previously owned a manual Tdi). I work from home, so fuel costs aren't a factor for the few times a week I'll drive it. I wasn't hugely keen on going back to air suspension.
Last week, I found a 3-door auto Discovery 1 (205km) locally that presents well - but of course was sold unreg and will need some work!
Things like the driver's door window regulator, roof lining, the rear window washer nozzle, and the secondhand steering wheel doesn't sound the horn or activate cruise control.
Then there are oil leaks which I'll get sorted. And I'm not sure about the coolant reservoir cap...
The paint is good - it's lived in a garage for years - with some scratches here and there.
It goes into diff lock a lot easier than my Tdi ever did!
During the 12 years it was owned by the couple who sold it to me, it's had a Red Devil radiator and what looks to be TJM springs.
The owner threw in a spare fuel pump and brake master(?).. plus the newer stereo they never got put in it!
Anyway, this weekend I'll start the journey. Cheers

Yes, I was wondering how many were still on the road. I'd never seen a 3-door in the flesh until this year.

Made the same change myself a few years ago, might not ride as well but much more reliable, I love my tdi.

Your three door looks really tidy, good buy.
