Haven't dealt with them, but once I thought I'd try to get any old glass people to do my windscreen and I got O'Brien mobile work van people to come do it and they botched it up, didn't have the right windscreen but installed the wrong one anyway, then I had to mess around for ages and get the car to their workshop ages away so that they could fix their mistake.

I will never again muck around with any 3rd party or non land rover specialist options for my Land Rover. I don't know who those glass people are, but whatever you do just get someone who knows what they're doing and who knows the right windscreen and who likes working on these vehicles. Other people who don't like Land Rovers don't seem to like working on them and they muck things up.

Also added insult to injury when the guys at LRA said they could have done the windscreen cheaper than O'Brien did it anyway, and they would have done it right.

Not sure if that's any help or just an annoying unsolicited reply but I just got triggered when you started talking about windscreens...sorry

Tom, I assume you purchase your screen and then have to get someone to fit it.

Are glass fitters happy to do this?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

The local O'Brien agent is a panelbeater here in Warwick. When I got the Limo done, they couldn't have been more helpful. It was an insurance job, they asked if I wanted aftermarket or genuine. I took the genuine option (nearly $3k worth). Follow up call a couple of weeks later to make sure there were no leaks etc.
Probably the difference between big city and country town I guess.
