    Replacement Seat Belts

    Hi

I am trying to find aftermarket replacement seat belts for my 1994 Disco. The problem I seem to be having, is that the bracket the seatbelt attaches to the floor (not the seatbelt stalk) is an L shape, rather than a flat plate.

Has anyone had any luck finding an OEM replacement, and if so can you supply some details?

    Thanks

Can't you just unbolt the L bracket and fit it to another seat belt?

Trying to buy aftermarket seatbelts is near impossible.

I have been looking for the last couple of months for a belt to fit the Nissan patrol but nobody sells them anymore.

I got told that one of the auto shops (like autobarn, repco etc) got sued after someone didn't fit a seatbelt properly then got injured and now nobody is game to sell them.

I needed repairs to a belt in my 2 door Rangie and went to Restraint Technology in Bayswater, who did the job while I waited. Their website says they can solve all sorts of issues so they might be worth a call. I was impressed with their service. Their number is 03 97291988.
    Good luck,

I can ask. LHS or RHS or both?

I’ve seen KLR get Defender seatbelts in, maybe they can do the same with D1.

It appears the seatbelts are AWR2948LNF on both sides.

None available in the UK supplier's site, none at British Motor Imports, none at Karcraft. LR in Oz show them and they list for about $350 each but that doesn't mean LR have any.

I suspect you will have to trawl UK suppliers websites looking for them.

    belts

My local landy breaker often has stuff like belts. When I was round there recently there were 4 or 5 d1's waiting to be broken. I had a good poke round but I wasn't looking for belts so I can't remember. I can dig out his number if the OP is keen or just search landibits dunedin "noel harper". Of course this is in NZ.

Also I have d1 rear belts I could sell if it was worth organising the shipping from over here.
