    Extractors on 3.9 V8 Worthwhile?

Thinking of putting a set of extractors on my old 1998 D1 3.9V8 .........after some opinions as to whether its worthwhile or not ?

Also......what make of Extractors is recommended and Exhaust Configuration.

At present it runs the original manifolds and a single 2 1/2 with a single mid mounted muffler.......sound very nice without being unduly loud .

    Thanks.

My recommendation is don't bother - the standard manifolds are equal to any after market extractors.

The exhaust back from the manifolds is a different matter - not sure of what is needed but replacing the entire system back with a free flowing system is very worthwhile. Not sure what you have now is good enough but spending money on the exhaust will get better gains than changing the manifolds.
