2" suspension lift or 2" body lift?

I'm looking into fitting 235/85R16s on my 93 Disco 3 door and setting it up to do some outback tracks.

First off I need to do the 'Camel cut' to accommodate the bigger tyres but I'm unsure if I need to fit a lift as well?

Is there any merit to a body lift or is that for running wide tyres?

It's going to be carrying a bit of weight with the bullbar, winch, aux tanks and rear drawers etc so thinking it will need suspension work.

Just how much is really required?

I don't plan to do rock crawling with it. Just tracks like the Gibb etc towing an army trailer.

Argh I was trying to be brave! 2" suspension lift or 2" body lift?

If I can fit 235/85R16s without cutting it by going down the body lift route I'd consider it.

My white 3dr I bought because it was one of the very few I saw around that were still in great condition and not cut.

I'm not sure of the answer though. Friends without a body lift did need to camel cut for 235/85-16. My suspicions are that you would still need to camel cut with a body lift because it is the back of the guard, but I really dont actually know that.
