    Weird.
I'd have thought that flasher unit removed, you cut power to the globes completely.

But if you have an alarm .. maybe this could be feeding back in some way. Dunno anything alarm system to help tho .. sorry.

I'd have thought the same. Certainly nothing happens if you try to indicate as usual.

This truck may well have had an alarm actually. It originates from a very posh showroom in London and was chock full of yuppie rubbish before I got hold of it.

    Did this get resolved?
Mine has done the same in the past, it is related to the alarm system , mine would occasionally be set off when doing very rough tracks, we had an ongoing joke that if Matts hazard lights were going the track was getting worse or better depending on how you look at life.
Mine sometimes fixed itself by cycling the ignition, if that did not work there is a green module under the L/H kick panel , tucked right up behind the glove box, unplug that and cycle the ignition a couple of times.
This will also fix the issue of the alarm locking out the ignition if activated by electronic interference, another occasional oddity which has happened to mine

I had the same problem on the 2012 puma, it set the hazards off when you went over rough roads and I would turn it off (lights still flashing) and when I restarted they stopped. I could never find the problem and maybe it could have resolved itself as it has not happened since. Some said it was the security alarm but not sure.
If it happened out in the bush I would pull the fuse and then replace it on the blacktop where it would not happen again.

Thanks guys. I haven't resolved this. Lately it's only been doing it out in the bush where it doesn't matter so it's on the back burner again while I sort an oil leak and abs. At one stage it was doing it on the motorway which was a pain.
