    Heavy jerky clutch

    Hi all.
    Got a 91 V8 2 door.
Clutch is heavy and sticky. releases very early off the floor.
Previous owner replaced master and slave.
Maybe needs a new clutch perhaps?
Obviously not wanting to go there if dont have too.
Also are the clutch kits the same as the 200tdi.IMG_3665.jpg
Is fitted with 245.75 16s on rangie alloys, but hits the trailing arms when tight turning.
What size tyres will normallyfit those rims 7J 16

    Your thoughts please.

my guess would be that the clutch is going to be different between tdi and V8s .. but no idea really.

As for the 245/75s hitting the leading arms? ... front suspension arms right? ... there are lock stops on the swivel hubs. Just a bolt poking out a tad .. IIRC on the rear of the swivel.
The lock stop bolt rests on the axle tube where it's bolted together at each stub end.

Raise front end, and turn wheel at full lock .. you shouldn't need engine running ... and back the lock stop bolt out a mm or two.
There's one on each end you need to adjust for each full lock direction.
    Arthur.

Love those black wheel arches on your rig. Jeesus they are expensive for a bit of plastic! Trying to buy a set for mine but trying not to sell a kidney or my first born in the process....

245/75 may require a small camel cut at the rear too. Maybe do some test flexing or check to see if the cut has been done.

As said, stops on front axle will need a tweak, pretty normal with tyres that size on std offset rims.
Rear will require a trim, before it tries to trim itself when a rear tyre tucks up......its neater if you trim it before this happens.
    Had 235/85, 245/70, 245/75, 265/70, and 265/75 on the std 16x7 Landy rims.
