Where in Melbourne to get a HD clutch fork ?

Young bloke just lost the clutch on his Disco, pedal to the floor.
Managed to drive it home, re-sealed clutch & master with no joy, ended up being the clutch pushrod had punched through the clutch fork.

Bursons, trade price $180 but he can get it cheaper online. Any suggestions to somewhere in Melbourne that might carry stock and be a reasonable price ?

He's now also looking at replacing the clutch & throwout bearing at the same time.

Dunno about Melbourne but KLR have this one for $29

R380 Heavy Duty Throwout Lever - KLR Automotive

AKA Clutch fork. Suits Defender and Discovery 1 300Tdi's fitted with the R380 gearbox . The original pressed steel version had a tendency to punch the pivot post through this lever. This is also a pressed steel one, but it has been beefed up in this crucial area. Highly recommended to replace this when you do a clutch kit. Not sure which 5-Speed gearbox you have? If reverse is opposite 5th you have a R380. If it is next to 1st you have either a LT77 or LT85 (110 Only).

He got one from Ritters, a bit more expensive than KLR but probably cheaper in the end as he didn't have to pay freight. Plus they were open !

He was also getting a HD clutch kit.

Yep. Beats waiting for it, too. Glad you were able to get one locally.
