    1995 D1 give away

    Hi all,

My 95 D1 V8 Auto has been sitting for too long - it has rust in the floor pan. It had a very nice running 3.9V8 when the rego ran out - close to 300,000 but very well seviced and an LPG system alongwith approx 40 litre quater tank for petrol. Aside from the distributor it is as it was when the rego ran out as a daily driver but since then the fuel pump died. As far as I know the doors, bonnet, guards and tailgate are all fine are the mech components including auto and drive shafts, diffs and axles no issues when she started to sit. Milford full height barrier, LR brush bar. All glass is tinted and in good nick save for windscreen which from memory has a couple of starburts that didnt travel. Not long before it was deregistered I had one of the front 4 spot calipers re-conditioned but it has been sitting a few years and probably would need new seals etc on the brakes. It is a parts car now. Could well be useful to someone. The interior has mould. Giving it away to whoever wants to grab it. Now decision is made keen to have it gone in the next month. You would need to slide tray it.

    PM me if interested.

    Cheers

Surprised you haven't had more interest. I'd love it but I'm too far away and, well, I already have too many.

Thanks mate. Yes for sure. I suspect the demographic on this site is more seniors than younger guys. The younger guys are generally a bit quicker to take on a project like this (generalising) and there are a lot of young blokes on Friendface. Having said that a bloke not exactly young looks set to grab it over 2 younger guys if he can get there first. Cheers
